  • Campus Numbers
    • Lift the handset
    • Enter access code # 1
    • Enter 5 digit number of phone to be forwarded to
    • Replace handset
  • Off-campus Numbers
    • Lift the handset
    • Enter access code # 1
    • Enter 9 and 10 digit number of phone to be forwarded to
    • Replace handset
      Note: only telephone numbers preceded by 604 & 778 can be forwarded to

To cancel call forward

  • Lift handset of your own phone
  • Enter access code # 1
     
  • Replace handset

CALL PICKUP

To answer another ringing phone in your group

  • Lift handset
  • Enter access code # 113
  • Incoming call is immediately presented to your local

CALL TRANSFER

To transfer a call from your phone to another local

  • Press "LINK" key or switchhook - listen for 3 quick beeps and dial tone
  • Enter 5 digit local
  • If local answers - advise of transfer and replace handset
  • If local is busy or no answer - press "LINK" key or switchhook and original party is returned

CONFERENCE

You are on a call and want to include a third party into your conversation (maximum 6 parties, internal or external)

  • Press "LINK" key or switchhook (puts original call on hold)
  • Listen for 3 quick beeps and dial tone
  • Enter third party number of person you want to include in conference call
  • After third party answers, (you may speak privately) press "LINK" key or switchook to include original party

HOLD

To put a call on hold

  • Press "LINK" key or switchhook - listen for 3 quick beeps and dial tone
  • Enter access code # 4
  • Phone rings every minute indicating call is on hold
  • To retrieve call, press "LINK" key

RING AGAIN

When a campus local you dial is busy, ring again notifies you when the line is free and will automatically connect you

  • You dial a local and get a busy signal
  • Press "LINK" key or switchhook - listen for 3 quick beeps and dial tone
  • Enter access code 1 1 1
  • Hang up - normal telephone use may now be resumed
  • When your phone and the busy local are free, you will hear short rings
  • Lift handset within 6 seconds (or call will be cancelled)
  • You are now connected to the available local

To cancel ring again

  • Lift handset
  • Enter access code 1 1 2

LAST NUMBER REDIAL

SPEED CALL

This feature provides automatic dialing of frequently called numbers. Designated controller stations program the numbers into the system. Assigned user stations may then use these numbers by dialing 1 or 2 digits.

  • Enter speed call entry number (1 or 2 digits)
  • Enter number to be programmed
  • Replace handset
  • To program additional numbers or to change a number repeat steps

User

  • Enter speed call entry code (1 or 2 digits)
  • The number is automatically dialed

STORED NUMBER REDIAL

To store a number for future redial when the number is busy or not answered

  • Replace handset

To redial stored number

  • Stored number is automatically dialed

You may store a number without calling it first
