Campus Wide Login (CWL)
The Campus Wide Login (CWL) system provides access to many of the University's online systems, such as the Student Workday and Canvas.
Workday Student
As a UBC student, you’ll use Workday to complete essential tasks like registering for courses, updating your personal information, paying your tuition, and downloading important documents.
Online Learning - Canvas
Canvas provides a secure, online classroom for each of your courses at UBC.
Microsoft 365
All active UBC students with a valid CWL account are eligible for a Microsoft 365 subscription which includes the Microsoft Office software.
MS Teams
Create virtual meeting spaces, share information and create content together using video conferencing, group chat, and real-time collaboration using Microsoft Office applications.
MS OneDrive
Securely store, share, and synchronize files and folders from anywhere, anytime using the file hosting service. Features include 1 TB of data storage and versioning.
Student Email
All active and registered students are eligible to sign up for a @student.ubc.ca email address, which enables access to services such as Microsoft Teams and Onedrive.
VPN
Access myVPN, UBC IT’s free Virtual Private Network (VPN) service in order to protect your data.
ubcsecure Wireless
We encourage you to select ubcsecure as your default UBC network.
Survey Tool
Create surveys with the UBC Survey Tool, a Canadian-hosted solution with enterprise features.
