• Use of the Services by user
  • You agree to use the Services only for purposes that are permitted by (a) Policy SC14 (b) any applicable law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines.
  • You agree that you will not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services (or the servers and networks which are connected to the Services).
• Your password and account security
  • You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords associated with any account you use to access the Service.
  • Accordingly, you agree that you will be solely responsible to UBC for all activities that occur under your account.
  • If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your password or of your account, you agree to notify UBC IT immediately.
• Privacy and protection
  • You understand and agree that for backup purposes, multiple copies of your data will exist, and that such copies will be stored in more than one location, UBC IT will make all reasonable effort to ensure the protection and privacy of your data, but cannot guarantee such protection or privacy.
• Content in the Services
  • User may store business related files, the EduCloud service can also be used for incidental personal use, as noted in Policy SC14.
  • You understand that all information (such as data files, written text, computer software, music, audio files, photographs, videos or other images) which you store through your use of, the Services are the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated.
