"Something went wrong" error

When creating new subsites using the Team Site template, you get a “Something went wrong” error on the new homepage.

There is a known issue with SharePoint which affects creating new subsites using the Team Site template. The new homepage contains a Newsfeed web part displaying a “Something went wrong” error.

We are currently working to address this issue. In the meantime, please remove the Newsfeed web part from the homepage by following these steps from Microsoft.
