Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) are essential components of creating a progressive and respectful work environment within UBC's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and UBC Information Technology (IT).

With UBC IT Human Resources, and in partnership with the Equity and Inclusion Office and UBC Central Human Resources, we are committed to transforming our practices to improve our workplace and advance the broader initiatives of the university: to build a community in which human rights are respected, and equity and inclusion are embedded in all areas of work.

To ensure we start from a strong and shared understanding, we developed the following vision, mission and definitions of equity, diversity and inclusion within the context of our own unique workplace.
