Database Administration Services

To enable the academic and research missions of the university, UBC IT Database Administration provides database administration services via enterprise level infrastructure, continuous technical supervision and maintenance. Expertise and support is offered in five platforms:

  • Oracle Enterprise Database
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • MySQL Community Edition
  • PostgreSQL
  • MariaDB

Database Administration Services are available to all Faculty, Staff, and UBC organizational units. An implementation fee and ongoing annual support fees may apply.
